Well he isn't limited to just rock, although if he were the worlds of music and of rock would still be way ahead. But here is Chuck Berry as few know him. Chuck Berry playing Hoochie Coochie Man...

Chuck Berry - Guitar Man
Everybody when they hear chuck Berry thinks Maybelene, or Sweet Little Sixteen, or Johnny Be Good, or any of the other dozens of hits that he wrote and played over the years. He was responsible for dozens of great guitarists picking up the instument and learning to play, many have admitted that he was their inspiration.

Let's Twist Again and Other Great Songs
Originally recorded in '61/62 here's how they were doing it in '92 Check out the babe that Chubby picks up at the end, I'm damned if I know how she stayed in that dress... Chubby's put a pound or two back on by then.
Ray Charles original of Hit the Road Jack. A great song.
Here's more Wanda Jackson... Pick Me Up On Your Way Down. Country this time...
The Collins Kids, Lorrie and Larry. This was probably 1958 59, She was 16ish he was 11-12 maybe, but watch him play guitar.
Gogi Grant The Restless Wind. Another singer lost to the mists of time, at least to most. This was always a favorite of mine. She did a lot of troop shows in the 60's/70's, and was very appreciated. A great singer.
Chuck Berry Maybellene... It may be '58 I don't know for sure. The man can play guitar, he wrote his own music, and a fearless performer as you'll see here. Can you believe there are people today that say Chuck who???
That's it for today, I was going to add a couple others but it's getting too long, and I don't want to bore you, so next time...

Wanda Jackson - The Queen of Rockabilly
Wanda Jackson (no relation to those Jacksons) began singing when she was about 15 in the mid-fifties. Those were different days than today. She was very sexy, as most will agree, but her parents watched over her as she sought stardom in this new business. She sang rockabilly and country mostly and was good, nobody can deny that. In the early days there were just a few girl rock singers, and fewer that were good, fewer still in Wanda Jacksons class. Another thing she was known for is being Elvis' girlfriend, for a time. Today she's still going strong, her voice as good as ever, issuing new albums, in her 70's. Listen and enjoy...
