Awake

-Are you a God?
- they asked the Buddha.
- No.
- Are you an angel, then?
- No.
- A saint?
- No.
- Then what are you?
-
I am AWAKE.

Om Mani Padme Hum

Matthew 25:40

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Matthew 7 1-6

1. Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4. Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5. Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
6. Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

December 21, 2012 is 6 Months Away

Just a short reminder. What's it going to be?  Is it the end of the world, or just Y2K over again? I'll tell you plain, if I were God, looking at the sheer disaster that's humanity, it'd be the end of the world, no question at all. Time to raze the world, re-terraform it, and try again, building yet another version of man (and woman). Maybe next time it'll come up with a version that isn't intent on destroying itself, as we appear to be. Maybe next time there won't be the widespread murder, well, actually forget that, just take all of the ten commandments in any order and you'll see they're all broken on a micro-minute by micro-minute basis, by every person throughout history right up to ten minutes from now, and beyond into the unknown future.
Think about it, isn't it time to start over?

  1. Your argument is a good one. All one has to do is read the papers, listen to the radio, watch the tv news, not ours but the overseas versions, this is a pretty sordid time that we are living in.

All that said, I am not quite ready to check out and am willing to give my fellow man another chance to get it right, but it is a higher hill to push that rock up, no question about it.

  2. Thanks, me either. But,the problem is they've been trying to get it right in this the age of iron, aka the Kali Yuga and can't. It's not their nature, most of them anyway. There have been 4 or 5 ages of humanity, depending on if you're Hindu, Greek, Chinese, etc. each of thousands of years, although the exact length varies again dependant on your heritage. This age is humanity at its lowest common denominator, "created the men of the Iron Age, the worst race ever to appear on earth and one destined to become totally depraved. Hard work, trouble, pain, and weariness were the lot of this group of men, which still exists." Which isn't to say there aren't people worth saving, there are. The problem is they are few, and in their genes is the evil waiting to be born in future generations, to go on and on. It's time...
Think about it, God became so disgusted in humanity that he decided to destroy them in a flood. BUT, and it's a big but, he, or someone, warned a man. Noah, Gilgamesh, or whatever his real name was warned to build a boat, blah, blah. The point is that a man, his wife, daughters, sons, son's and daughters in law, all members of the same humanity that were supposed to be destroyed, survived and are our, our very own, forebearers. If they were righteous is beside the point, they had in their genes with the rest of humanity from that time the very evil that was the reason that God decided to destroy that same humanity, but instead of destroying it, he/she/it allowed it and the evil it carried to survive. Just a thought...
